Inspiration Workday

iMovie projects are due today - please make sure you published your page!

Inspiration:
On Tuesday we looked at examples of Inspiration/Kidspiration projects and talked about how you can use it for you own learning - and this is the purpose of your project. Today, we'll spend a few minutes looking at how these tools can be used in the K-12 classroom.

You can view the project details for more information about what is required for your assignment. Please remember that it is due on Tuesday, October 9.

Next Tuesday's class:
We will not meet as a class on Tuesday, October 9. Please look at the Learning Technology Showcase agenda and choose one or more session that are of interest to you. After attending your session(s), write a 50-word summary (no more, no less) of what you learned and how it might apply to your grade level/subject area. You will turn these in on Thursday, October 11. Submissions may be typed or hand-written.

If you are unable to attend the Showcase because of class conflicts (specifically for out 8:00 class) please complete this alternative assignment by Tuesday, October 23 (the online conference does not begin until Monday, October 15).

View two sessions from the K-12 Online Conference.
You can view the session schedule here.
Write a 25-word summary of each session (no more, no less) describing what you learned and how it might apply to your grade level/subject area. Submissions may be typed or hand-written.

For Tuesday:
1. Publish your completed Inspiration project. Make sure to save your Inspiration/Kidspiration diagram as a .jpg and insert it as an image on your Inspiration webpage. You will also need to link to the file within the reflection you will write.
2. Email Ying Liu (yliu@uga.edu) if you are interested in participating in the research study explained in the October 2 blog posting.
