Capstone Project: Day Two

Your WebQuest is due at the beginning of class today!

The Capstone Project:

A: Analyze Learners
S: State Objectives
S: Select the Media, Methods, and Materials
U: Utilize Media and Materials
R: Require Learner Participation
E: Evaluate and Revise

Once you've figured out what you are teaching, who you are teaching, and what methods and materials you will use to teach them - you have to decide how you will use the materials, what students will do to learn the targeted objective(s), and how you will know if they've learned it.

Use the online guide to complete the sections of your Capstone Project. Please remember that your final ASSURE plan should use one of the projects you have completed this semester as one of the "media" or "materials" and the final write-up will be 3-5 pages long. Review the grading rubric for more information.

Please make sure to draw a slip of paper during class so you will know what learners you will be working with and what technology resources you have available for your ASSURE plan.

Please note that for the objectives section of the ASSURE model, you need only to insert the exact standard from the Georgia Performance Standards website. You do not need to elaborate further on the standard.

To submit this project, you will write a short description of your teaching activity on your Capstone web page, then you will provide a link to the completed template. Please proofread all parts of this project before submitting. Please remember that it is due on Thursday, November 29 at the beginning of class.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
